Carrom

Carrom (also known as Karrom) is a "strike and pocket" table game of Eastern origin similar to billiards and table shuffleboard. It is found throughout the East under different names.
This table was commissioned by Harrods for a Middle Eastern client.
It was made in American rock maple with stained magnolia inlay and ebony stringing with a lacquered finish. Legs are removable and stored on the underside of the top where integral compartments, lined with suede, enable the storage of all other components. The men are ebony and maple, the strikers composite plastic, the spirit level in solid brass housed in ebony, the brush in ebony and silver and the talc shaker in sycamore.
