I was born in Weston-super-mare, England in 1953, moved to Africa and Canada, returning to England in 1973.
1973-76 British School of Physiotherapy, qualifying as a Chartered Physiotherapist.
1976-85 Worked as a physiotherapist in Oxford.
Concentrated on the design and making of specialised equipment for the severely disabled, with particular emphasis on anatomically efficient chairs.
1985-87 In 1985 started 2 years training with John Makepeace, England's leading furniture designer/maker,
at Parnham in Dorset.
1987-2013 Established a workshop in Northamptonshire in 1987. Over 30 years experience of designing and making furniture and games. Workshop based in Chester since 2004.
My work has for many years been
sold by a major London store and is held in private collections in UK, Northern Europe and the Middle East.
