A collaboration of my console table protecting Liz Ellis's black grouse. Inspired by Moel Famau in the North Wales Clwydian mountain range.
The console table top is a slab of oak off the band saw retaining all it's features and is deliberately
not planned flat. It has been scorched to a highly textured finish and oiled and waxed. The six legs are also oak, scorched and finished the same as the top.
The grouse is black stoneware & porcelain.
